Procurement Specialist

Source the company’s domestic and international raw materials, including natural products as potential drugs and intermediates for pharmaceutics, as well as Chemical Industrial Equipment, including waste treatment and environment testing related equipment. Conduct market research to gather ideas and data for various chemical raw materials, pricing, product availability, and market positions; Identify cost saving opportunities, create competitive environments, creatively negotiate, generate contracts and manage delivery of products; Provide input to plans and strategies for the company’s production and marketing goals; Make recommendations and provide input to the determination of types of products to be sourced and procured; Identify ways to reduce costs; Identify new suppliers in terms of product specifications, product availability, pricing, and other terms of sales in accordance with company policy and budget; Renegotiate, renew and discontinue existing supplier contracts; Analyze industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify supply base issues to minimize risk, protect continuity of supply, and exploit emerging opportunities; and Evaluate supplier core competencies and competitive positioning using industry cost models. Positions Available:

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field with at least two years of prior experience in the same or a procurement related occupation.


Chemist:

Perform multi-step organic synthesis in solution and/or solid support: Optimize conditions to achieve desired yield; perform and interpret data analysis such as LC/MS and NMR; perform purification steps such as extraction, recrystallization, silica gel column chromatography and LC/MS purification; perform cGMP synthesis of pharmaceutical ingredients; and perform process development and scale-up for kilogram quantities; and clearly record and communicate results and challenges to coworkers/supervisor. Equipments and tolls used included NMR, UV, MS and IR, Reactor (from 50ml to 221 to 10000l), vacuum pump, water aspirator, condenser, rotavap, voltage transformer, chromatography columns, TLC monitor, lyophilizer, separation funnel and addition funnel. Minimum Job Requirements:

Education: Master’s degree in Chemistry or Organic Chemistry with one year of prior experience.


Budget Analyst:

Duties: Work under the Chief Financial Officer to coordinate accounting and financial operations of the company to project and plan future earnings and expenditures. Apply principles of business finance to analyze financial records and financial operations in order to determine accuracy of financial records, efficiency of operations and effectiveness of budget control and to estimate future revenues and expenditures. Provide strategic analysis and advice to senior management for strategic decision making for entering into joint venture projects with businesses both in China and the United States to set up new production facilities in China, and new warehousing facilities and wholesale outlets in the United States; and Prepare budget reports, as well as long term budget plans with cost analysis and fiscal allocation, and maintain budgeting systems with the company to provide control of expenditures for product development and new business acquisitions and ventures.

Minimum Job Requirements:
