Chen Zhou, Ph.D. CEO and Co-Founder

Dr. Chen Zhou, CEO and co-founder of ChemPacific, has a strong background in organic synthesis, product separation, and structure identification. Dr. Zhou obtained his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry at the New Mexico State University and performed his Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Maine.

Rebecca Chiu, MS VP, QA/QC global and Co-Founder

Rebecca has 35 years of experience most recently as Associate Director of Research and Development for Novartis Pharmaceuticals, specifically in the areas of GMP/GLP compliance, CMC Registration documentation for NDA/IND filing, SOP creation, QC/QA analytical/process development activities, analytical troubleshooting, method development and validation, technology transfer and project management. She joined Chempacific in 2006. She has directed analytical activities for 14 NDA registrations, numerous NDA supplements and IND applications.

Tony Liang, MS and MBA VP of Operations and Co-Founder

Mr. Tony Liang, COO and co-founder of ChemPacific, has both a technical and business background, with an MS in Molecular Biology from Case Western Reserve University and an MBA from New York University in Finance and International Business.

Jim Havlin VP Sales and Marketing

Jim obtained his B.S. from University of Illinois, and completed the MBA from the University of Utah. Jim has worked for Mallinckrodt for 17 years as an engineer, operations supervisor, marketing and business development manager. During the past 13 years he has had assignments with Eastman Chemical in Northeast Tennessee, Northwest England and Singapore. During this period he sharpened his skills in international management and team building. Jim has traveled extensively throughout Europe and Asia while building customer relations with companies operating in wide range countries. He joined Chempacific in 2003. He has studied Spanish, French and Mandarin.
